Project Structure

Unlike the versions before 1.3, SWAT+ Toolbox now has a different project structure. The project maintains a SWAT+ Toolbox Project File while now introducing a new directory structure. The project folder is identifiable by its unique folder icon.

Upon creation of a new project, GIS data is copied into dis.data subfolder. From here, if you want to modify the project in QSWAT+, the project file and it's data is enough to do this.

The Default Scenario is saved in a separate subdirectory under scenarios and the Toolbox scenario is used for any modifications and changes to your model. If you create a new scenario, it is derived from the Default scenario.

This project structure also allows portability across computers since all related data such as observations is saved in the spt.data.
