Overview¶
Once you have created or opened a SWAT+ Toolbox project, you choose the settings and data that sensitivity analysis, manual calibration and automatic calibration will use. Three sections of the app cover this, and each has a tab in the navigation bar at the top of the window.
Run Model¶
The Run Model section sets the simulation period, warm-up years, routing and PET methods, print settings and a set of model options from codes.bsn. It is also where you manage scenarios, choose the SWAT+ revision that every run uses, and run the model. See Run Settings and Running SWAT+.
Parameters¶
The Parameters section lists the parameters that sensitivity analysis and calibration will change, with the change type and the range for each. You can add parameters one at a time or as a predefined set, limit a parameter to chosen objects, add conditions such as a hydrologic soil group, or load parameters from an existing calibration.cal file. See Adding Parameter Data.
Observations¶
The Observations section contains the measured data that model results are compared against, such as river flow at a gauge. Each observation is a CSV file linked to a variable, an object and a timestep. See Adding Observation Data.
Note
Run settings and parameters belong to the active scenario. Observations belong to the project and are shared by all scenarios.
