Version 4.0.1¶
SWAT+ Toolbox 4.0.1 was released on 16 October 2026 and is available for Windows, Linux and macOS. Installation steps for each are on the Installation page.
Download the installer (Windows 10 or newer), unzip it and run the .exe:

The official installer for SWAT+ tools installs SWAT+ Toolbox together with the SWAT+ model, SWAT+ Editor and the other SWAT+ tools.
Install from a terminal (x86_64 and aarch64):
curl -fsSL https://install.swat.tamu.edu/spt.sh | bash
For an offline install, download the archive for your machine:
Install from Terminal (Apple Silicon only):

The archive of the app is also available: SWAT+ Toolbox for macOS (Apple Silicon).
The same command installs and updates SWAT+ Toolbox. It picks the right package for your system. If install.swat.tamu.edu cannot be reached, the install commands download from the mirror at install.swatplus.link instead.
Older versions (Windows only)¶
Versions 2 and 3 are the older Windows-only program. Their projects do not open in version 4.
